Lena Dunham to read from new book in Antwerp
American author and producer behind the hit HBO series Girls, Lena Dunham will appear in Antwerp on 4 December
"Not that kind of girl"
Dunham, who created and stars in the hit HBO series Girls, was scheduled to appear at Antwerp's Boekenbeurs early this month but cancelled at the last minute due to fatigue.
The evening will begin with an autograph session and end with the reading from the memoir, which will be on sale at the event. The book, in which Dunham describes life for 20-something women trying to launch careers, maintain relationships and create meaningful friendships, with her trademark whimsical humour.
The reading, sponsorerd by Lannoo publishers, takes place at Opera Antwerpen amid the lavish set of its new production of Cosi fan Tutte.
