Tickets on sale this month

Belgium’s internationally renowned rock and pop music festival Rock Werchter has announced that P!nk will headline the opening night next June. It’s the first time the American pop star will be in Belgium since appearing in Antwerp’s Sportpaleis in 2013.

The energetic P!nk is known for her spectacular live shows, and the current Beautiful Trauma tour, in support of her seventh album, is no different. Described by a Variety reviewer last summer as “the most holy f—ing s— act of physicality I’ve ever seen as part of a pop show,” the concert has P!nk being thrown through the air via a series of giant elastic bands.

Headlining Werchter’s Friday night will be legendary gothic rock bank The Cure, and Saturday features folk rock sensation Mumford & Sons. More announcements will be made throughout the year for the festival, which takes place from 27 to 30 June. Tickets go on sale on 26 October.
