“Education of the future” challenge posed to UGent students

Education experts will lead brainstorming sessions for UGent students and staff to help them develop innovative ideas. The sessions are taking place at various locations in Ghent and at the Kortrijk campus. The participants are coached in how to develop concrete applications for their ideas and to give each other feedback on the Innoversity Challenge website.

UGent has offered a few examples of possible initiatives: a platform to better organise group projects, an app that brings students into contact with alumni from business sectors and a “digital classroom” in which students can participate in interactive courses.

Every idea will be evaluated on originality and feasibility by education experts. The participants with the best ideas will be coached to further develop their initiative. In March, three suggestions will be chosen and trial project developed for the 2016-17 academic year.
